Music at services is led by a group of church members whose first concern is to worship God with their musical instruments and their voices.
The instruments played include keyboard, organ and guitars. The new Makin simulated pipe organ complements the traditional style of the building and is played at many services, and of course at weddings, funerals and festivals.
The Music Director Alan Fish seeks before God to bring together contemporary and traditional styles of song, using instruments appropriate for supporting congregational singing, and for deciding on suitable music to be played when people are arriving at or departing after services.
The members of the music team, meet each week, not only to practice and sort out arrangements, but to pray and ask God's help in choosing the right music for every occasion.
